Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo Lake trekking a remarkable adventure with tremendous views of Mt. Adventure to Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo begins with a scenic sweeping flight to Nepalgunj city towards Nepal Far South West in warmer zone, from Nepalgunj with another scenic flight to Dolpo and landing in Jhupal village with amazing views of Api, Saiphal and Dhaulagiri range of mountains.From Jhupal head towards Dunai town a headquarter town of Dolpo district, from here our remarkable adventure starts with a good walk towards emerald Phokshumdo Lake also called Ringmo located in tranquil environment.

 

Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo Lake trekking around interesting villages with Tibetan Buddhist and Bon culture (earlier of pre Buddhism) and traditions, walk continues leading to barren arid country with amazing views of red rock formation walls high cliffs in the backdrop of high snow capped mountains.

Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo trekking leads through villages of Ankhe 2,896m, Sumdu / Sulighat village 3,500m to reach at Phokshumdo Lake with nice Tibetan cultured village of Ringmo, after a rest day with awesome time exploring the lake and village, adventure carries on to cross a high pass of Baga La 5,070m and Jeng la at 5,090 meters the highest point of this adventure, from here reaching wonderful villages of Tokyu, Dho Tarap and Tarakot a nice place with monastery, from here our adventure around Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo trekking concludes, on reaching at Jhupal and then a flight back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj after an amazing Lower Dolpo & Phokshumdo lake trekking with great service of Ultimate Himalaya trek management and guiding.

Day 01:           Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with morning tour, fly to Nepalgunj in the afternoon.
Day 03:           Fly to Jhuphal 2,320 m then drive to Dunai 2,850m - 01 hr.
Day 04:           Trek to Ankhe 2,896m - 06 hrs.
Day 05:           Trek to Sumdu / Sulighat village 3,500m -06 hrs.
Day 06:           Trek to Phokshumdo Lake 3,500 m - 05 hours.
Day 07:           Rest day at Phokshumdo Lake for local excursion.
