Tshum Valley Trek:

Amazing Tsum Valley Trek is an awesome adventure in the least traveled area where the high Tsum valley lies hidden in between massive mountains of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal range, this high valley located close to Tibet border with similar strong Tibetan culture, traditions and daily way of life.


This Trekking offers close views of world’s 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 meters and massive Ganesh Himal or Yangra at 7,422 meters high, extending towards Northern Tsum valley unto Tibetan large windswept plateau. Starting this Amazing Tsum Valley Trekking with an interesting overland long drive to the low areas of Gorkha district, and then following the raging Buri-Gandaki River for few days, where the route to Manaslu and Tsum area branches off.


On leaving the main trail of Manaslu heading to north east to the hidden valley and last Himalayan Shangri-la at Tsum where you will be in the midst of medieval times with old Buddhist culture and way of life, walk leads higher in the heart of Mid West Himalaya between Manaslu & Ganesh Himal, surrounded by Sringi Himal to the North, Ganesh Himal towards North West, Bouddha Himal, Himal Chuli massive range of mountains.


On reaching the high land of Tsum explore Chumling, Chokhangparo, Nile and Mu Gompa at 3,700 m, the highest point of this amazing trip, here with rest day at Mu Gompa for short hike and visit of Rachen Gompa, where living style of the locals are strongly influenced by Tibetan Buddhist culture. Tsum in Tibetan known as Beyul  Kyimolung which translates ‘Holy Hidden Valley of Happiness’ certainly a holy Himalayan country located in remote and isolated place within high Himalayan mountains.

Day 06:         Trek to Ekle Bhatti.

Day 07:         Trek to Chumling.

Day 10:         Trek to Mu Gompa.

Day 11:         Rest day at Mu Gompa to explore the local village and monastery.

Day 12:         Trek to Rachen Gompa.

Day 13:         Trek back to Chumling.
